Stampin' write markers......

This creation is due to all of the snow we are getting & how bored I am on a Sunday morning with a few hours to myself.....As I was digging out the coffee I stumbled upon an empty Crystal Light container....hmmm I thought....I could do that! So I dug out my "loves me" designer paper, the glue dots, some ribbon & my 3/8" circle punch. This (I think) adorable Stampin' Write marker holder is the end result. My DH looks at me & asks what it was with this smerk on his face (only because he does not like the color brown....) and all I had to say is I like it and I don't care if you don't! That shut him real quick...lol... TFL!

Here comes Peter Cottontail....

This is a card that i'm doing for a Easter/Spring Stamp Camp next month! I am very limited on my Easter stamps & I know that this is a hostess set but i'm hoping that seeing the set in use will give some of the ladies an ambition to have a workshop :)
So I guess there is a method to my madness...lol TFL!

Altered box....

This is a box that I purchased at Michael's for I think .99. It's only the size of a trinket box. To spice it up a bit I covered it with the "loves me" designer paper & for around the edge of the cover I used some of the pretty velvet ribbon! You could use this little baby for paperclips, buttons, eyelets, etc..... Fun to have around!

Ok, lets try this again only with a larger pic...lol

Let's try it again....sorry....I have not been feeling well & with trying to figure out the whole watermark thing....it's killin' me!

I know it's not Valentines anymore....

Ok, so I know that this photo is already posted but I just had an awesome lady "kulissa" make a watermark with an image for me & I want to see how it looks....

Sweet Stuff notebook....

Even though I am sicker that a dog with the flu I wanted to finish this notebook and get it posted. I purchased this cute notebook at our local Goodwill store for $1.79. What a buy!! The front cover is wood so I just dyed the wood edges to match the paper. It is covered with the "love me" designer paper from the Winter mini & the binding is embellished with grosgrain & gingham ribbon! You can never have to much ribbon...lol I first covered the front & then went to the back & used my exacto knife to cut the paper out of the square. The only problem I ran into is when I tried to rebind when I was done. So I just cut off some of the binding to make a smooth edge & voila! This is way to cute to give away so off to the stamping shelf it goes! TFL

Watermark try again.....

Here is another card that I have tried using the watermark affect on.....I may just have the hang of this after all....yahoo!

Watermark!.!.!.

Ok...so now I feel really stupid! I am trying to create a "watermark" for my card images.....I went onto SCS & found all of this info in a thread. I ultimately downloaded a free trial of Adobe Photo Shop ~I was able to create a watermark but was not able to copy & paste it~ & then I downloaded a free trial of Corel Paint Shop Pro XI. I was finally able to create a semi-OK for tonight watermark. I would love to figure out how to do a design watermark. So i'm adding a photo with my watermark.....(that only took me 5 hours to complete...lol) Let me know what you think.

Hoppy for you froggy......

I want to thank "Marika" (www.marikalemay.blogspot.com) from SCS for the inspiration & CASEability for this adorable card! I will be doing this for my upcoming stamp camp! I can't wait for everyone to see it! The "Very Punny" set has to be my fav from Sell-a-bration!

Cute & quick boy card.......

This is 1 of my 10 cards that I did for my "SU!perbowl" party....I'm always looking for a good "boy" birthday card & I thought that this would be a perfect time to bring out my "Sporting Goods" set!

Here comes the Easter Bunny!

This is a quick & cute little Easter basket that i'm going to be doing for my "Easter & Spring" stamp camp! If I have time I may even make some for my daughter Cora's preschool class for Easter!

Valentines...

Just in time for Valentines Day....This is a "cello bag candy holder" that I had at my Stamp Camp. A very easy project for any of your "sweet Valentines".

Feeling silly....

Ok. So now I feel really silly. I have added all of these cool little things to my blog & they have decided to download to the top of my page & I can't seem to figure out how to move them. Not to mention that I accidentally uploaded to "slides" to my blog. I was up late last night trying to figure out how to move this stuff around. So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to contact me at stampinwithtanya@yahoo.com. Maybe i'll just start over with a new blog...lol... Have a great day.

My first post.....

My first post. How exciting :) I'm fairly new to the whole "blog" think so please bare with me.

A bit about myself ~ I am a SAHM of Cora 4, Brady 3 and Breya 1-1/2 and married to my wonderful husband James. I'm a SU demo and have been since March 2006. So pretty soon will mark my 1 year anniversary. I will soon be posting my Art Gallery so keep an eye out for that.
I am an addict of Splitcoast Stampers. What an awesome website. I was inspired to start a blog by "emilymomto3boys". I only hope that my blog can be as creative as hers.

Thanks for checking out my blog and remember to check back for my Art Gallery.
