Birthday invite

I will be using this simple ATC (artist trading card) design as a birthday party invite for my daughter Breya's 2nd birthday in May. ATC's are so easy to mass produce. I would like to thank Carrie3118 on Splitcoast for the design! It will save me a lot of thinking. I used Chocolate Chip, Mellow Moss & Very Vanilla cardstock along with Chocolate Chip & Mellow Moss ink. The stamp set used is "Little Pieces" & of course my new "Spiral Punch" that I absoulutely love!!! I tied it all together with a piece of Chocolate grosgrain ribbon. TFL!

Spiral Punch......

This super cute card was made using the new "spiral punch" from Stampin' Up! It's actually a punch that allows you to add extra pages to your journal ~ pretty cool! My inspiration for this card is from a fellow stamper on Splitcoast Stampers but I cannot remember her name. I just changed a little of the color. I used Pretty in Pink, Mellow Moss & Very Vanilla cardstock along with Pretty in Pink & Mellow Moss ribbon. Used the "ticket punch" also Stampin' Up! on the corners of the Very Vanilla then roughed up the edges with my finger nail. I used a little bit of glitter on the flowers from the "polka dots & paisley" stamp set just to get a little *pop* on the card. TFL!

find joy....

Sorry it's been a while since i've posted! I'd like to share this easy easy card with you today. It is the card that I will be doing for my shoebox swap at the NEW (northeast wisconsin) 2nd Annual Stampfest at the end of April. I used the "polka dots & paisley set" along with the coordinating "petals" jumbo wheel. I just love wheels but do not use them enough. I also used a flower stamp from the set "polka dots & petals" as the background stamp on the Bravo Burgundy cardstock. I have 50 ladies to cut this card for and cannot wait for the stampfest! I will definately post some of the cards I make there. TFL!

bleach......who knew?

This is a cool technique that I would like to share with those of you who do not know about it! You will be using just regular household bleach~I use Clorox~ a shallow plastic dish and 2 or 3 paper towels. You will fold & place the paper towel at the bottom of the plastic container~pour just enough bleach in to get the paper towel wet~take your stamp and dab it into the bleach and stamp onto your dark colored paper. Magic will happen before your eyes! You can make awesome background images this way as I did or just single images. Plus the bleach cleans your stamps! Now go & try it out for yourself & I would love to see what you've created! TFL!

Just a note holder....

This is a cute little note holder that I made at my team meeting today. It's made out a 6x12 piece of designer series paper from SU!s Spring Mini Catalog. The paper is called Au Chocolat. The pen is a RSVP pen that you can purchase at any office store. You can then take a piece of designer paper, roll it up to fit in the barrel of the pen and you have an instant customized pen! How cool is that! Enjoy and TFL!

Stampin' write markers......

This creation is due to all of the snow we are getting & how bored I am on a Sunday morning with a few hours to myself.....As I was digging out the coffee I stumbled upon an empty Crystal Light container....hmmm I thought....I could do that! So I dug out my "loves me" designer paper, the glue dots, some ribbon & my 3/8" circle punch. This (I think) adorable Stampin' Write marker holder is the end result. My DH looks at me & asks what it was with this smerk on his face (only because he does not like the color brown....) and all I had to say is I like it and I don't care if you don't! That shut him real TFL!

Here comes Peter Cottontail....

This is a card that i'm doing for a Easter/Spring Stamp Camp next month! I am very limited on my Easter stamps & I know that this is a hostess set but i'm hoping that seeing the set in use will give some of the ladies an ambition to have a workshop :)
So I guess there is a method to my TFL!

Altered box....

This is a box that I purchased at Michael's for I think .99. It's only the size of a trinket box. To spice it up a bit I covered it with the "loves me" designer paper & for around the edge of the cover I used some of the pretty velvet ribbon! You could use this little baby for paperclips, buttons, eyelets, etc..... Fun to have around!

Ok, lets try this again only with a larger

Let's try it again....sorry....I have not been feeling well & with trying to figure out the whole watermark's killin' me!

I know it's not Valentines anymore....

Ok, so I know that this photo is already posted but I just had an awesome lady "kulissa" make a watermark with an image for me & I want to see how it looks....

Sweet Stuff notebook....

Even though I am sicker that a dog with the flu I wanted to finish this notebook and get it posted. I purchased this cute notebook at our local Goodwill store for $1.79. What a buy!! The front cover is wood so I just dyed the wood edges to match the paper. It is covered with the "love me" designer paper from the Winter mini & the binding is embellished with grosgrain & gingham ribbon! You can never have to much I first covered the front & then went to the back & used my exacto knife to cut the paper out of the square. The only problem I ran into is when I tried to rebind when I was done. So I just cut off some of the binding to make a smooth edge & voila! This is way to cute to give away so off to the stamping shelf it goes! TFL

Watermark try again.....

Here is another card that I have tried using the watermark affect on.....I may just have the hang of this after!

Watermark!.!.!. now I feel really stupid! I am trying to create a "watermark" for my card images.....I went onto SCS & found all of this info in a thread. I ultimately downloaded a free trial of Adobe Photo Shop ~I was able to create a watermark but was not able to copy & paste it~ & then I downloaded a free trial of Corel Paint Shop Pro XI. I was finally able to create a semi-OK for tonight watermark. I would love to figure out how to do a design watermark. So i'm adding a photo with my watermark.....(that only took me 5 hours to Let me know what you think.

I want to thank "Marika" ( from SCS for the inspiration & CASEability for this adorable card! I will be doing this for my upcoming stamp camp! I can't wait for everyone to see it! The "Very Punny" set has to be my fav from Sell-a-bration!

Cute & quick boy card.......

This is 1 of my 10 cards that I did for my "SU!perbowl" party....I'm always looking for a good "boy" birthday card & I thought that this would be a perfect time to bring out my "Sporting Goods" set!

Here comes the Easter Bunny!

This is a quick & cute little Easter basket that i'm going to be doing for my "Easter & Spring" stamp camp! If I have time I may even make some for my daughter Cora's preschool class for Easter!

My first post.....

My first post. How exciting :) I'm fairly new to the whole "blog" think so please bare with me.

A bit about myself ~ I am a SAHM of Cora 4, Brady 3 and Breya 1-1/2 and married to my wonderful husband James. I'm a SU demo and have been since March 2006. So pretty soon will mark my 1 year anniversary. I will soon be posting my Art Gallery so keep an eye out for that.
I am an addict of Splitcoast Stampers. What an awesome website. I was inspired to start a blog by "emilymomto3boys". I only hope that my blog can be as creative as hers.

Thanks for checking out my blog and remember to check back for my Art Gallery.
